AS LOCAL AS IT GETS

Our story is an uncommon one: we are family-owned and proudly serve Angus-bred Wagyu cattle to folks 25 minutes away from where the cattle was born and raised. Fed on Humboldt grass and then grain, our cattle are grown with care and processed in Elkton. There are not many places in Sioux Falls—and certainly not the States—that can take pride in being as local as it gets.

Wagoo cattle are born and raised in the same place, and calves and cows are never separated on the farm. Humboldt neighbors provide grass feed until the cattle reach around 700 pounds and can move on to grain feed. When cattle are ready to be processed, our USDA-inspected locker in Elkton allows us to keep this process simple, local, and efficient.

Our chef-led menu includes a burger patty with a blend of Angus-bred Wagyu meat, all thoughtfully created to taste great and support our local farm and folks who helped from barn to burger. When you enjoy Wagoo, you are supporting a small business that is honored to support other small businesses to deliver a unique home-grown experience.
